Class Fee and Deposit Policy

The following is the fee costs for our standard 3-day courses as well as the deposit requirement for all classes. Special tutorial courses and contract classes will be established specifically by YFA on a case by case basis for each class and for the specific group or individual in advance.

Our standard 3-day class fees will be $575.00 per student with a discount upon receipt of a deposit, depending on when received. Our deposit requirement is $300.00 per individual space in the class in advance to reserve your place. There will be absolutely no reserving of course spaces without the deposit. Deposits are NON REFUNDABLE within 45 days or less before the course start.

Courses will run with 10 deposits in hand at least 45 days (or more) before the class start date. If there are less than 10 deposits (for 10 spaces) then the course will be cancelled and deposits returned. YFA can no longer book courses and plan circuits without the security of having enough deposits to make the class viable. On some of our training circuits, we are on the road for more than 60 days, which makes us committed to the scheduled course dates; therefore, we must rely on this fee and deposit policy to make the courses worthwhile for all. Every year, we turn down some requests as they inevitably conflict with other course dates.

If those course dates are then cancelled at a late date because of a client lack of timely financial commitment, YFA has then lost two sets of clientele: - The clients who could not be scheduled for those previously reserved dates, plus the class which was supposed to run. This policy will insure that students are as willing and committed to the training and instruction as we have been for 20 years.

For those who wish to take the first two days of a 3-day class the fee is $400.00 with the same $300.00 deposit requirement and prior permission of YFA and the class coordinator.

Some ranges we use require special range fees which will be assessed to course participants as necessary in addition to the fee and deposit policy. The above fee and cost structure is for YFA training, targets and YFA equipment only. Firearms, ammunition and personal gear (holsters, slings etc.) are the responsibility of each student.

YFA accepts checks (payable to YFA), money orders and cash, but does not take credit cards.
